This Weekend’s Gospel is the WOMAN AT CANA…
\nThis is a reflection I wrote on it last C Cycle:<\/p>\n

Do you remember?
\nWhen the wine ran out at Cana
\nwe first saw glimmer<\/p>\n

in changing water.
\nJesus transformed his very life
\nnever to be the same.<\/span><\/p>\n

We come to praise you
\nweek by week and year by year
\nAncient formula:<\/p>\n

when WORD is spoken
\ndrawing life-breath and spirit
\nproclaiming anew;<\/p>\n

the marvelous deeds
\nof broken BREAD at table
\nWINE renewed once more.<\/p>\n

You and I become
\nEpiphany manifest
\nwhen we too are changed.<\/p>\n

Will not be silent!
\nYou shall be called by a new name!
\nSo shall God rejoice!<\/p>\n

Wisdom, knowledge, faith
\nare released as gifts within
\ncalling us to serve.<\/p>\n

This is the one hope
\nWe yearn, we trust, we pray for
\nWorking in us, NOW!<\/p>\n

Do you remember?
\nOh! Let us proclaim the
\nMystery of faith!<\/p>\n
